Snowy Winter

The first snow we had in a very long time…

Finally snowed in Vancouver! We haven’t had snow in a very long time. I remember the last time it snowed was probably more than 3 or 4 years ago. My news feed was flooded with snow scenery and complaints about the traffic, which was expected because we weren’t prepared for the weather (we are more of a rainy town).

There has always been a hype around Hunter boots. I couldn’t comprehend at first but now I know how essential a pair of stylish waterproof rain boots could be in a rain-forest like climate. I don’t like them to be too big and clunky so last weekend I got a pair of short, matte and red ones. The bonus here is that they are matte! I’m not a fan of shiny rain boots because they just look too rubbery. These boots are highly functional (rain proof and snow proof) and can go with all of my winter parkas. Although they are not lined with fur so these boots aren’t entirely snow shoes, but a pair of thick socks can solve the problem and keep me warm. I love how these photos turned out and the pop of red amongst the sea of white!

Where to shop my outfit:

Jacket: ZARA (last year, but similar here)

Blanket scarf: ZARA (similar here)

Boots: Hunter from SoftMoc (here)

Jeans: American Eagle (I always get their jeggings!)

Belt: Aritzia (similar here)
