TA-DA! Finally, the last destination to our Scandinavian vacation-Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. A city with one of the highest ranking in terms of livability. I certainly don’t object to this because just by walking down its streets, you will get a sense of harmony and prosperity. The city was polished, orderly and cultivated. Even a small quite street is quite refined, usually there would be a small cafe serving a freshly brewed coffee accompanied with a delicate home-made pastries. Stockholm was the example of what I had envisioned European cities would look like before my visit. The architecture, the streets, the colors, the cityscape were exemplary representations of European history and culture. I loved how an essential form of transportation is by boat, notice many of my photos were taken while we were touring on a boat and the number of boats that were docked near shore. Stockholm has officially made it on my ‘cities-worth-revisiting’ list! It is one of my favourite city of the entire Scandinavian trip, along with St. Petersburg (another travel post).
Next travel destination hint: a world of magic and happiness! Until next time globetrotters…
Thanks for stopping by!
