King Kamehameha

Today’s post is my visit to the Hawaiian King’s palace, King Kamehameha. I love anything with a cultural context to it. I like getting to know other cultures, studying their customs, traditions and history. Why? Because it allows me to gain appreciation for how diverse we are. And it’s this diversity that makes life colourful and interesting! It’s also a way to eliminate stereotypes, prejudice, and false assumptions we have about other people, to have knowledge and to “walk others footsteps.” We can really learn things we never knew (lyrics from colours of the wind in Pocahontas-also love this song)!

Thanks for stopping by!
